Hittin village
Hittin is a Palestinian village in the Tiberias District, 8 km northwest of the city. It was destroyed and its inhabitants displaced during the 1948 war. The village's lands witnessed the Battle of Hittin, in which the Ayyubid state, led by Saladin, defeated the Crusaders.
